Golden Apple Foundation recognizes teachers and empowers them with classroom resources to improve educational outcomes in our community.
The Foundation operates entirely on the generous financial support of community businesses and individuals, as well as the more than 400 volunteers who donate their time and energy to make our programs successful.

It’s the final event of the 2026 Battle of the Districts guest bartender fundraisers! If you’ve really had a MONDAY, come out and join superintendents, principals and teachers from Hononegah Nation schools from 4-7 p.m. Dr. Jarrett and others will be working hard behind the bar at Louie’s TapHouse, 5689 Elevator Road, Roscoe, for your tips. You can also put a dunce cap or teacher’s pet crown on your favorite for a $20 tip. They need to find someone to give another $20 tip to remove it! Don’t miss this FUNdraiser!

Apple for the Teacher Day is our fun way of kicking off the nomination period for selecting the 2026-2027 Golden Apple Teachers. I scream, you scream, everybody should scream for ice cream from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 17 at Dairy Haus, 113 E. Main St., Rockton! Come enjoy this delicious fundraiser for Golden Apple, hosted by the Class of 2025! More details will be coming but save the date!
